Day 01: Arrive in Bir .Trek start from Bir to Billing. 3-4 hours .
Bir (1600 mtrs), surrounded by tea gardens and an amphitheater of low hills, is an ideal landing ground for para-glaiders. Bir has Buddhist monasteries that are worth visiting. Fine Tibetan handicrafts are also produced here. Billing,(2400 mts) up in the hills 14 km from Bir with an area of 200 km for high altitude and cross country flying, is one of the best aero sports sites in the country.

After lunch move around the Billing. Night stay in camp with bone fire and music.

Day 02: Wake up call in the morning with tea .Post breakfast ready for the flight to Bir .Enjoy the Flight that will be about 30 – 40 minute.
After flight proceed to your destination with unforgettable memories of Camping & paragliding celebration in Bir – Billing

Day 01 – Mcleodganj to Galu temple 6 km hi gradual trek or by car to camp .
The trek offer panoramic views Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala valley and distant views of Shivalik hills and plains of Kangra valley. The trek is moderate nature. Triund is a large land of green grass and pasture like. One can see the mighty Dhauladhar ranges just above the eyes. This is the base camp and climatization point for trekkers climbing the Inderahara point in the Mt. Dhauladhar.

Trek Grade: Moderately Tough
Day 01 – Palampur to Bir by bus (1hr) 2600 mtrs
Trek starts from Bir to Billing, 4hrs walk. The trek is of moderate ascent. It is known as one of the best placing for paragliding. It gives most scenic panorama of the Shivalik ranges.

Day 2 – Billing to Raj Gunda, 6 hrs
Trek goes to the north of billing along spur above the uhl river with easy walk. There are potato farms in this village.

Day 3 – Raj gunda to Pani Hardu (3693mts) 6 hrs
This trek is moderate ascent.

Day 4 – Pani Hardu to Marhu (3900mts) over Thamsar pass (4665mts), 10-12 hrs.
This trek is weary and it involves climbing. A beautiful small glacial lake can be seen on this trek. The pass is surrounded by snow and pass also shares two different valley (Kangra & Ravi valley). From here trail descends to the vast of snow towards north. The trekkers and gaddis camp at this place and make an early starts to cross Thamsar pass.

Day 5 – Mahru to Bara Bhangal (2540mts), 5 hrs.
It is downhill trek to Bara Bhangal which is situated above the attraction for trekkers, mountaineers, nature lovers and anthropologist who thrive to feel and experience the lives of local tribes who live there in complete isolation untouched from the outer world in their own traditional ways.

Day 6 – Rest day.

Day 7 – Bara Bhangal to Sukha Parav (2990mts), 5-6 hrs.
This trek passes through forests. Streams and meadering rills involving many ups and down. This is a sceneic feast with panorama of peaks all around.

Day 8 – Sukha pass to Lama Rarav (3150mts), 4-5 hrs.
This is an easy gradual trek with moderate ascents.

Day 9 – Lama pass to Gwari(3780mts), 5-6hrs.
The trek which rises steeply arduous climb up to the camping ground. Gwari is situated at the fool hill of Kalihin pass when the Kalihin river originates and joins the Ravi near Bara Bhangal.

Day 10 – Gwari to Sanghor (3600mts), 10-12 hrs. over Kahilin pass.
This is very tiring trek. The climb becomes stiff before the pass but then rewarded adequately for ones efforts by fascinating view of the mountains of Greater Himalayas as seen from the pass. One needs balance and self control while descending.

Day 11 – Sanghor to Sangchur (288mts), 6-7 hrs.
This trek passes through many ridges and crosses through couple of streams on its way to Sangchur.

Day 12 – Sangchur to Manali (2050mts), 6-7 hrs
This is comparatively easy trail can be covered n 2-3 hrs. The trek descends through many villages of Kullu Vally.

Summary:A 10 days advance trek to the sacred Manimahesh lake in Bharmour from Dharamshala visiting holy lakes.
Maximum Elevation: 4200mts.

Starting point: Mcleodganj
Day 01 – Mcleodganj to Kareri village (1900mts), 13 kms trek The first 6 kms of the trek is through a small lake. Tibetan Children village, Satobary. From Satobary a wide trail descends to Ghera through thick forestation and then cross Gaj river and Kareri stream. Steady climb to Kareri village from Ghera. Night stay in forest rest house or in tents.

Day 2 – Kareri village to Kareri lake (3200mts), 12kms trek Trek goes along Kareri nallah (stream). The lake is situated at the base of Minkiani pass and has beautiful high altitude meadows and pasture land.

Day 3 – Kareri lake – Minkiani pass – Minkiani Jot (3500mts), 9 kms trek
Four to five hour ascent takes to the top of the pass. In early summer one has to walk over snow and needs good technical skill. After the monsoon the snow melts and the the trail is visible. The weather is unpredictable here. From the pass, the trail descends down to the Minkiani jot through big boulders. In early summers these boulders remain covered by deep snow. The trek terminates at Minkiani Jot where few rock caves and a beautiful ground is there to pitch out the tents for the night stay.

Day 4 – Minkiani Jot – Lam Dal lake (3900mts), 10kms trek
Lam Dal, the biggest lake in Dauladhar range is considered as the adobe of Lord shiva and is sacred to the local folks. On way to Lam Dal is Kali Kund (a small lake shaped like a well and surrounded by rising hills).

Day 5 – Minkiani Jot – Drakund (1800mts), 15kms trek
From Lam Dal the trek descends down the valley along Lam Dal stream. Night stay at Drakund rest house surrounded by apple orchards.

Day 6 – Drakund – Dunnali, 9 kms – Bharmaur (2195mts), .40kms
It takes about two hour to reach Dunali on the main Chamba Bharmaur road. The villages are sheltered but linked with each other.

Day 7 – Bharmaur (2195mts)
Day at leisure. Visit ancient Churasi temples, night stay in a guesthouse in Bharmaur.

Day 8 – Bharmaur – Hadsar – Dhancho (2440mts)
Bharmaur to Hadsar is 17 kms motor able, Hadsar to Dhancho is about 8 kms. Steep ascent. Dhancho is the base camp for the trekkers`en route Manimahesh lake. Gauri Nallah forms a huge waterfall at Dhancho. Night stay in tents.

Day 9 – Dhancho – Manimahesh lake (4115mts), Dhancho 15kms
From Dhancho a big trail steep up to 5 kms to Gauri Kund is gradual ascent for 2.5 kms to Manimahesh lake. Manimahesh is a glacial lake situated at at the base of Mount kailash and is the highest lake in Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges and is regarded a sacred lake in local mythology. Thousands of people go to pilgrimage to the lake every year and back to in Augest. Lunch at the lake and back to Dhancho for night stay.

Day 10 – Dhancho – Bharmaur
Night stay in guest from Bharmaur buses, jeeps available for Chamba Dharamshala.

Day 01
– Dharamshala to Bir (by bus 2-1/2 hrs)
Bir to Billing – 2600mts, 2-3 hrs trek
This trek is through mixed forest. Billing is internationally renowned for conducting Para and Hang gliding competitions. The mountains are rich with vegetable and provide complete green cover to this region.

Day 2 – Billing to Koti – Kohar, 6-7 hrs trek.
It is down the hill walk amidst thick forest mixed variety. Koti – Kohar is a small village in Chhota Bangal valley. The occupation of the people is farming in small terraced fields.

Day 3 – Koti – Kohar to Barot, 6-7 hrs trek.
An easy downward walking trail follows amidst forest crossing Ruhlling River at one or two laces.

Day 4 – Barot to Lohardi -1990 mts, 2-3 hrs trek.
The small village is located on both sides of Lamdug River. The scenic grander of Lohardi to some extent resembles to that of Manali. On both sides are high hills with thick forest, below in the valley are orchards. This area presents a very rugged beauty and has un-explored treks unvisited. It is a trekkers paradise and one finds oneself completely lost in admiring the natural beauty all around.

Day 5 – Lohardi to Lahesh – 3200 mts, 6-7 hrs trek
This trek is visited by shepherds and trekkers frequently to cross over Sari Pass.It is a well defined trek which follow through forested ridges along the Lohard nallah.

Day 6 – Lahesh to Teun village – 2700 mts, 8-9 hrs
It is hardest day of the trek as the climbs steepy to croos Sari pass (3760mts). Sari pass is not very high and has green meadows on top of it shepherds with their flocks of sheep and goats stay for a long time during the summer. Teun is a very primitive village of Rajput families.

Day 7 – Teun to Naghol – 2700 mts, 4-5 hrs trek
The trek passes through many small villages all along the Sari nallah.

Day 8 – Naghol to Kullu , 3-4 hrs trek.
An easy trail decends along the Sari nallah. The beauty of valley is incomparable. The Sari nallah meanders between the valley and finally mingles with Beas river at Kullu.

Day 01 – Mcleodganj (1770m) to Truind (2800m): 9km, approx: 4hours
Mcleodganj to Triund, gradual trek. The trek offers you panoramic views of Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala, Kangra valley and distant views of shivalik hills and plains of punjab.
Overnight at camp at Triund.

Day 2 – Acclimatize to the high altitude at Truind, walk arround the area.
Overnite camping.

Day 3 – Truind (2800m) to Lahesh cave (3500m); 6 kms, 5 hrs
Where the snow line starts, this trek mostly used by Gaddis (shepherds) is a moderate climb begins with rocky path with oak, tosh and birch wood, vegetation enroute ends at the elevation of 3200 km. And snow line starts. Hot lunch will be served at local café before Illaqua. Lahesh cave 3550m a natural rock cave shelter. After finishing the trek, quite evening, relaxing at campsite.

Day 4 – Lahesh cave (3500m) to Chatta Parao (3700m), 7 kms, 6 hrs
It is a day to go across the Indrahara pass. Chatta Parao is at the bottom of the Indrahara pass passing through the soft snow and icy streams usally in the month of May the trek passes over rock faces and and steep climbs. Many peaks i.e. Dromedary, Camel’s slab, Rifthorn, Arthur’s Stool and Mun (4650m), visible on both sides of the pass. There is magnificent view of the Kangra and chamba valleys and a distant view of Middle and Greater Himalays. From Indrahara pass trek heads downwards to Chhatta Parao overnight stay at the campsite at Chhatta Parao.

Day 5 – Chhatta Parao (3700 m) to Kwars i(2730m), 14 km, 4 hrs
This going to be long and challenging day since passing therough the glacier and steep and narrow trek descend to Chhatta Nullah (stream), which is 6km. Passing through the whole stretch we reach Kwarsi a beautiful Gaddi village surrouned by pine trees and lush green fields. After along tiring day day relax at the overnight campsite in the village known for its hospitable people.

Day 6 – Kwarsi (2730m) to Lamu and Choli village. 8km approx, 4 hrs
Before leaving Kwarsi visit to Shiva village temple, descend to village Lamu. At some spots the trek is narrow. Choli is a village just a km from Kwarsi which is our last destinationof treking. The village has the connective road to Chamba district (50km) and Bharmour (14km).

Day 3 – Chhatta to Inderahara pass. Inderahara is at an altitude of 4350 mtrs in the Mt. Dhauladhar and is a passway to Chamba valley en route Bharmour and Kwarsi.
Back to Triund the same evening. Overnite at camp or forest guesthouse.

Day 4 – Leisure at day time in Triund and back to Mcleodganj in the afternoon.
